============================================================================ (February 13, 2011): I apologize but DeviantARt no longer accepts "unknown file type" (in this case .crx files) so i may not be able to update this in the future. If i did it would be a .zip file and would not install automatically.
(August 8, 2010): Google Chrome launched a new style frame (the buttons are now seemless) for the Beta release.
EDIT (4/18/10): There were some unsightly pixels on the second tab that are now gone. Now on version 2.0
EDIT (3/27/10): Changed the background image to something more mild. ============================================================================
To uninstall go to the "wrench" icon in your browser, select "options" then go to the "personal stuff" tab and click "restore to default theme."
I really like the colors and everything but the only problem is that when I hover over a link, the bar that pops up is showing black texts on a dark grey surface, making it pretty much impossible to read. If there was any way that you could switch it so that the text there was white or that particular box was a lighter color, that'd be great
OK, just for the record i did try to change the background image to fit larger screens but i couldn't get the image to be centered so i didn't upload it. The image is on repeat so there should not be any white around the edges.
Could someone elaborate with the problem they are getting with the World Map image?
yah people with really high resolution monitors are going to have some problem with the background. If you absolutely must fix it, you can change the background so that it doesn't repeat. I have a guide for the .crx in my scraps.
thanks ... as far as the tab thing goes, when you drag a tab it automatically assumes the same picture as the first tab. So you should see that, if you see a weird image (strange rectangle?) then there may be a problem (but ive never seen this before and ive tried the theme on multiple machines).
And by the way i recently joined the group called "Chrome Themers," they all make some pretty cool themes so you should check it out.
